Takis Exarchopoulos
(born 1944 in Athens, Greece) studied architecture at the Technische Hochschule Braunschweig (today: Technische Universität Braunschweig) in Germany from 1962 to 1970.
At university he worked as a student assistant of professors Heinz Roecke and Dieter Oesterlen.
Between 1970 and 1977 he worked for the architectural offices of Takis Zenetos, Alexandros Tombazis, Thymios Papagiannis and Iason Rizos in Athens and for the construction company Philipp Holzmann in Frankfurt am Main.
1977 he founded his own office, which today operates under the name 'exarchopoulou+gerakakis', managed by Elena Exarchopoulou and Panos E. Gerakakis.
